The show begins at 9:00 for all ghouls and ghosts 18 & up — $6 at the door.

Central Florida's METAL monsters 5 BILLION DEAD have posted a new song and video on the band's myspace showcasing their new lineup with Chuck Boyer (x-ENIGMATIC) on vocals. Drop the boys a line and let them know what you think.

OBITUARY to release concert DVD

TAMPA Death Metal legends OBITUARY plan to release a new concert DVD titled "Live Xecution - Party.San 2008" November 19 through Regain Records. Filmed last year during the Party.San Open Air Festival in Bad Berka, Germany. Bassist Frank Wtakins comments "We did over 30 festivals last (year) and the Party.San festival was the very last and best one for OBITUARY... Fortunately the show was filmed.

Slated for the DVD release are 15 songs including classics such as "Chopped in Half", "Dethroned Emperor", "Evil Ways" and "Slowly We Rot". Fans of OBITUARY anxiously await!

EVERGREEN TERRACE first week sales

Jacksonville's Melodic Metal / Hardcore crossover unit continues to press forward with the release of their new album "Almost Home" which sold around 2,000 copies in the United States within it's first week of release according to Nielsen Soundscan. The album landed at the No. 17 position on the Top New Artist Albums chart.

The band tracked the recording at Martell Studios with the vocals being recorded at Sanford's own AudioHammer Studios. Stated guitarist Josh James "I'd say it's best described as a good mixture of "Burned Alive by Time" (2002) and &qout;Wolfbiker" (2007)

5 BILLION DEAD returns

After nearly a 4 year absence since their last appearance, local METAL legends 5 BILLION DEAD return armed with new vocalist CHUCK BOYER (frmly. of Enigmatic / Carnevil) included in their arsenal.

"The band never broke-up", claims bassist Mattdaddy "We've been hard at work the entire time. Having gone through several lineup configurations, at long last we are very excited to announce 5 BILLION DEAD are back and better than ever! Guitarist Alex V., drummer Chris B. and myself had already made a conscious decision to return as a 3-piece and actually booked a show as a part of the METAL 4 TANYA benefit concert Friday, October 23rd at the Haven Lounge. It wasn't until after we began preparing for that show we found out that Chuck had left his band Enigmatic, so of course we asked him to audition. It was no surprise that his vocal power and stage presence fit perfectly with the intense musical direction the band had taken."

5 BILLION DEAD have been diligently working on a new demo, recorded in part at Suede Shoe Studios Lake Mary, and now vocal tracks are being laid down at the band's own studio, with a little help from their friends at AudioHammer Studios Sanford (Trivium, DevilDriver, God Forbid).
