Seasons Beatings from Orlando!

Photos have been posted within the OMA FORUM documenting a momentous weekend of METAL Orlando style! This is what it's all about folks; Good Friends and Good Times! A huge THANK YOU goes out to everyone involved, the bands, the bookings, the clubs, the friends, the fans, and the family members who put an incredible amount of effort putting together a weekend of METAL not to be forgotten! S.W.W.A.A.T.S. sign with Nuclear Blast Records

Tampa based grind act SUCCESS WILL WRITE APOCALYPSE ACROSS THE SKY have officially signed a deal with legendary metal label Nuclear Blast. The band will enter the studio in February/March to record their full-length debut for a late 2008 release. The group's debut EP, "Subhuman Empire", was released in July 2007 via Debello Recordings, and is available for streaming on the S.W.W.A.A.T.S. MySpace page.

EKOTREN to release new album worldwide

Cape Coral based melodic metal band EKOTREN will embark on a string of headlining dates in January, with further tour plans in the works. In February, the band will also see the worldwide release of "Light The Fire" through Blind Prophecy Records. The release will contain 11 songs with six new songs, and new versions of songs from previous EP's "Destroying The American Dream" and "The Tables Have Turned"

Release dates are scheduled for:
Japan - February 20, 2008
Europe - February 25, 2008
North America - February 26, 2008

HATE ETERNAL new album details

Tampa, Florida's HATE ETERNAL are back with "Fury and Flames" claiming to be the band's most diverse and emotionally fuelled record to date due mainly in part to the passing of bassist and good friend Jared Anderson. Founder, vocalist/guitarist Erik Rutan recently stated, "Jared was one of my best friends, and his passing away really affected me and influenced this record a lot. It's a very dark and heavy record — not just heavy as in 'heavy metal,' but heavy-hearted as well."

"Fury and Flames" will feature cover art by Paul Romano and features new members Shaune Kelley on second guitar, Jade Simonetto on drums and guest Alex Webster of CANNIBAL CORPSE fame stepped in on bass for the recording.
