TORCHE "Meanderthal" to be released

Miami's TORCHE have plans to release their 2nd full length album titled "Meanderthal" April 8th through Hydra Head. Recorded at Godcity Studios in Salem, Massachusetts, the 13 track album is said to have "a unique sound" and "No amount of heaviness is compromised" according to Andy Low of Robotic Empire (who will be distributing the vinyl version of this release). CONTROL DENIED "The Fragile Art of Existence" to be reissued

Poland's Metal Mind Productions, have announced they will be reissuing Chuch Shuldiner's 1999 album from Control Denied titled "The Fragile Art of Existence" as a digitally remastered limited-edition digipack limited to 2,000 copies. The release will be distributed throughout the U.S. through MVD April 15th.

DEATH's "Symbolic" to be reissued

Coming April 1st, Roadrunner Records will reissue a remastered version of DEATH's 1995 album "Symbolic" plus several previously unreleased demo recordings with the lineup of Chuck Shuldiner, Gene Hogland and Steve DiGiorgio. CYNIC To Record New Album

Florida's technical metal pioneers CYNIC have announced plans to record a new album at AudioHammer Studios with our own Jason Suecof. This will be the second release following 1993's ground-breaking debut "Focus". Inspired by a successful European reunion tour, founding guitarist, songwriter and frontman Paul Masvidal comments "I'm amazed that we're here again, and that is a testament to the unpredictable beauty of the creative process. To put it mildly, this last year has been a creatively abundant and productive period. We're intoxicated about now and the future."

RESURRECTION To Release New Album

Tampa's RESURRECTION best known for their 1993 release "Embalmed Existence" via Nuclear Blast Records is now set to release a new yet untitled album with Massacre Records in Europe, and Index Productions worldwide May 4, 2008. Commented RESURRECTION guitarist and founding member John Astl: "This album will surprise the metal community. It's like we have picked up where we left off before we broke up in '96!! We are holding true to our death metal roots and style of playing and hope that the younger generation of metalheads will see what Florida death metal is all about. Songtitles so far are: "Buried Alive", "Coward" and "Death By Desire".

WYYKKED WYTCH release new songs

Miami's WYKKED WYTCH has posted 4 songs from its fourth album, "Memories of a Dying Whore", on the group's MySpace page. The CD, which was released through the band's own label Perish Music, and was remixed by Eric Rachel (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, ATREYU, GOD FORBID) at Trax East Studios, mastered by Alan Douches (UNEARTH, MASTODON, SHADOWS FALL) at West West Side Music in New York.
